COUNCIL - The direction and management of the congregation’s spiritual and physical needs will be the responsibility of the Church Council. It is intended to serve these needs by relying on expanded committees to administer the implementation of their plans as approved by Council and the Congregation at the Annual General Meeting. Chairperson - Peter Snowball FINANCE - promotes financial stewardship within the congregation and administers all matters relating to the financial operations of the Church. GROUP COMMITTEE - CUBS, weekly Monday, 6:45 - 8:15 p.m.; SCOUTS, weekly, Tuesday, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.; BEAVERS, weekly, Thursday, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Chairperson - Andy Small MINISTRY & PERSONNEL COMMITTEE - provides a consultative and supportive agency for the staff and for members and adherents of the congregation. Chairperson - Robin Hopper MISSION & OUTREACH - develops and implements plans to inform the congregation of global and local needs and to suggest appropriate courses of action with respect to the Christian mission beyond the boundaries of the local church. Chairperson - Brian Veno NOMINATING - to present a slate of candidates for Council, its various committees, Session, Trustees and/or representatives to Presbytery.Chairperson - Peter Snowball NURSERY - provides nursery care each Sunday morning during worship for children to age three (3). The nursery is equipped with a TV to enable attendants and the children to view the worship services. For information contact the Church Office. PASTORAL CARE - is a vital part of our life as a community of faith. If you, or someone you know, need a visit, a phone call or communion in your home please contact the Chairperson, Enid Beckwith or Boyd Vincent (Minister) or the Church Office. PROPERTY COMMITTEE - oversees the regular maintenance, upkeep and generl repairs to all church property.

They are available to those who are sick and to shut-ins, or to anyone on request. TRUSTEES - administer all real or personal property of

and hold it in trust for the United Church of Canada. WORSHIP COMMITTEE - coordinates the planning of regular and special worship services and associated events. YOUTH GROUP - plans and schedules activities for our youth. |
